Donald Uslan is a psychotherapist and rehabilitation counselor in a private practice that specializes in the treatment of patients with chronic medical conditions and occupational problems. He has a Master's degree in psychotherapy and counseling. He is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor with the Commission on Rehabilitation Counselor Certification, a National Certified Counselor with the National Board for Certified Counselors, a Fellow and Diplomate with the American Board of Medical Psychotherapists, a Certified Diplomate with the American Psychotherapy Association, a Senior Disability Analyst and Diplomate with the American Board of Disability Analysts, a Diplomate with the American Board of Forensic Examiners, and a Diplomate with the American Board of Forensic Counselors. He is a Washington State Licensed Mental Health Counselor. He also has a Master's degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in health care program development.

Mr. is the Secretary on the Board of Directors for the American Association for Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, an international association for research and clinical studies for chronic fatigue syndrome and fibromyalgia. He has published in lay and peer-reviewed professional journals and presented at regional and national conferences in the areas of disability, integrated care, rehabilitation, and mental health. He consults with employers about disability and return-to-work issues, and conduct independent vocational rehabilitation and disability evaluations utilized by private long-term disability carriers, governmental bodies, and physicians and attorneys about the occupational and psychosocial impact of chronic medical conditions and long-term physical conditions.

In addition to treating individuals and their families, Mr. Uslan assists in the development and running of services and programs to assist people with chronic illnesses in association with Northwest Hospital and Medical Center in Seattle. He lives with his wife and two sons in Seattle, and enjoys hiking and backpacking as well as playing the guitar and piano.
